ISLAMABAD:Nearly 3,000 cases of child sexual abuse were reported in the country last year, an increase of 21 per cent compared to 2011, according to a study conducted by a non-governmental organisation.Sahil, a non-government orgnisation campaig adidas samba ning against child sexual abuse, shared the findings of its annual Cruel Numbers report at the Child Friendly Newspaper Award & Best Volunteer Award 2012 ceremony on Wednesday. The report compiled child adidas yeezy sexual abuse statistics from news stories that a yeezys 350 ppeared in 86 national, regional and local newspapers.According to the report, 2,788 child sexual abuse cases were reported in the newspapers last year, compared to 2,303 in 2011. On average, eight children a day were abused during 2012. The data shows that 71 per cent of the children who suffered abuse were girls. The age group most vulnerable to sexual abuse among girls and boys was 11 to 15 years.Some 5,689 abusers were involved in nearly 3,000 abuse cases, out of which 47 per cent were a ISLAMABAD:In a major policy decision, the caretaker government decided on Thursday to make all the new appointments in the government institutions on contract basis, while all the commercial government institutions would be privatised gradually.The finance ministry issued a notification titled lsquo;Ownership and Manag nb 550 ement Policy of Government Institutions 2023, which would apply to all government-owned enterprises (GOEs). It said that a cabinet committee would be established stanleycup to implement the new policy.According to the new policy, the government would retain the control of ldquo;sensitive institutions of strategic nature rdquo; while the commercial enterprises would be privatised. However, it added some institutions would be restructured and their future would be decided soon.The policy, which would be updated and issued once in every five converse schuhen years, envisaged that financially or operationally failing entities would be declared a sick company and a plan for their rehabilitation and reo
