Mackey noted getting to know the basketball players while enjoying the football season heading to the playoffs makes the challenge a good problem to have. Mackey just started his first full season behind the mic for basketball and says hes excited about the Danny Sprinkle coached team. He also says he loves calling games from the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse because of the energy level the home fans bring to the games.
