Mike Livingstone admits opening day was a little scary.Opening a week before Christmas, in the midst of a pandemic and nine days before a second provincial COVID-19 lockdown, it was anything but a typical business launch. My biggest concern was the quality of the product, he said. I didnt want to let people down. I wanted to give them the quality of product they were used to at Cobs Bread. Nearly 600,000 children who normally don ;t have access to healthy food will now be able to receive nutritious food options this summer.Willie Taylor the Regional Administrator USDA Food and Nutrition Service for the Southeast Region shares how valuable this will be for children. Taylor says, This is an important aspect of making sure that we are feeding the children to make sure that no child is left out of the opportunity to eat. It to help reduce hunger across the country, no matter what part of the country you live in.After the management plan is put into place parents will then be able to apply for their children.
